Hey There!

Hey There! This is just a writing journal for me. I tend to write more original things than fanfic, but I love reading it. I prefer slash, and read as often as I can.(If you're interested in the original wriitng, just let me know here and I'll add you to the filter.) Any fanfic I write will remain here or my lj account unlocked. Someday, I might actually get around to writing the things bouncing around in my head.

I love the show, Supernatural, right now and stay mainly within that fandom. I like the shows Covert Affairs, White Collar, Sons of Anarchy, Suits, Rizzoli & Isles, Secret Circle, & Vampire Diaries, but I don't really follow fandom things much in those circles. I am a multi-shipper and read many pairings. There is far too much fic out there to limit myself to strictly one pairing, but even I have my favorites. I read far more than I write, lurk more than I should, drink far too much caffeine, and think that pizza is generally the best thing on earth. I work full time and I'm also a student and have a pretty demanding course load, so I don't have a whole lot of spare time. (Medicine is hard, yo!) Usually any free time I have, I enjoy reading new fics that catch my eye more than writing them. So, updates here will be pretty sporadic.

Did I mention I lurk? A lot? I'm trying to be better about it. Socially awkward? Yeah, that's me. If I friended you, it's because I like your writing and/or art and I want to be able to keep up with it as much as I can.

We invite you to dc_dystopia, a Dean/Castiel and Jensen/Misha-centric fanwork challenge community inspired by the likes of j2_everafter and dc_everafter – but with a dark twist. Rather than focusing on true love, happy endings, and fluff, dc_dystopia is all about reveling in dark!fic tropes and endings where things aren't quite so neatly resolved. If it might belong in a nightmare, then it has a place here.


I love darkfic, but I can't write it. Nor do I have much time lately. I don't have many people on my flist yet, but if any of you like darkfic, I'd love to see you sign up so I can read your fics. ♥
